SpaceX’s Starship-Super Heavy License Safety Review Completed

FAA Concludes Safety Review of SpaceX Starship-Super Heavy License

FAA reviews safety of SpaceX Starship-Super Heavy license.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has recently made an important announcement regarding the safety review of SpaceX’s Starship-Super Heavy license. In typical bureaucratic fashion, the FAA stated that they have completed the safety review, but hold on tight because there is more to come!

While the safety review might sound like an exhilarating roller coaster ride, the FAA is still diligently working on an environmental review. It’s almost as if the safety review was just the appetizer, and the environmental review is the main course. So, don’t fasten your seatbelts just yet. We still have more twists and turns to navigate.

In addition to the environmental review, the FAA is also in consultation with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) regarding an updated Biological Assessment. It seems like the FAA wants to make sure they’re leaving no stone unturned and no species endangered as they evaluate SpaceX’s license.

Now, here comes the real kicker. The FAA and the USFWS must complete their consultation before the environmental review portion of the license evaluation is deemed complete. So, it’s a waiting game filled with paperwork, discussions, and probably a fair share of coffee too.

While we wait for all the bureaucratic hoops to be jumped through, let’s remember to uphold our standards and maintain our trust in the process. After all, trust and flexibility are key in any endeavor. Speaking of trust, you can find our standards at The Thomson ANBLE Trust Principles.

Stay tuned for more updates on the SpaceX Starship-Super Heavy license as we navigate through the thrilling world of government procedures and environmental considerations. Get ready for liftoff – metaphorically speaking, of course!
