Former President Trump Spotted at Golf Club Days Before Indictment
Someone managed to capture candid shots of former President Donald Trump when he was recently spotted at his Bedminster golf club, just days before his indictment in Georgia. These pictures are quite something, providing an interesting glimpse into his state of mind prior to the legal troubles that awaited him.
The snapshots reveal Trump looking rather grumpy at the LIV Golf Bedminster Tournament, which took place at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey, from August 11 to 13. Little did anyone know at the time that these would be the last moments of calm before the storm.
The former President seemed momentarily lifted when he got the chance to indulge in his favorite sport. There’s something about the golf course that always manages to bring a fleeting sense of joy to his face. One of the pictures captures Trump hitting a shot from the first fairway during the pro-am prior to the LIV Golf Invitational series tournament on August 10.
Before the indictment, Trump took part in a practice round and a pro-am competition on August 9 and 10, respectively. These activities likely provided him with a much-needed distraction from the legal battles that awaited him.
Off the course, however, Trump couldn’t resist airing his grievances on his social media platform, Truth Social. On August 9, he penned several posts expressing his belief that the charges against him are politically motivated. Trump wrote, “Remember, these Indictments aren’t ‘Legit,’ they were all thrown up at me, quickly and haphazardly, including the local ones, by my political opponent, Crooked Joe Biden.”

Currently, Trump is facing a full docket of lawsuits and investigations. The recent indictment in Georgia marks his fifth in total, with this being the fourth criminal case he has been charged in. Astonishingly, he now faces a staggering 91 felony charges across all the indictments. Out of all these legal battles, it is the Georgia case that appears to hold the most potential to land him in prison.
What makes the Georgia indictment even more interesting is that it also targeted 18 defendants aside from Trump himself. Notable figures include former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, lawyer and conspiracy theorist Sidney Powell, and former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows. It seems that the legal troubles of Trump and his associates continue to mount.
At this time, a representative for Trump has not responded to requests for comment from Insider regarding this matter. The former President, who was seen looking tense and gloomy at his golf club, now faces the consequences of his legal challenges with uncertain outcomes lying ahead.
